I hope we can be pen pals over the Christmas period which I'm spending alone because I'm quarantined in Germany. this is what I've been up to since we last spoke.

I made a template to upgrade the projects area in my Second Brain.

This is really great for solo creators and small agile teams. Sometimes your projects don't always have clear end dates, you just kind of do them! I've even left a version of my personal project checklist that you can modify to ensure that you're giving the right amount of energy to the right projects. It's helpful to quickly assess which projects give me the highest return and satisfaction.

Created a community for Notion users who are Building Second Brains

I want to be close to the hundreds of people who have downloaded the Building a second brain template. I've helped small businesses and friends get their PARA setup customised for them in Notion. I created this community to help people overcome the learning curve and get set up quicker through sharing templates, quick loom videos and advice in a high-frequency chat thread. It's a place to Learn out Loud and give inspiration to others. - Jump in and introduce yourself!

Started writing about 'Social Games', Personal Development, Business and Org Culture

The handbook outlines a framework for thinking about Social games. Every day you play social games: impress the boss, dating, onboarding, giving feedback. I wanted to share a framework for how we can see how the wrong rules and roles can negatively affect your social interactions. It takes a 'first principles' approach to self-development. If you like what you read then my collaborator Nathan and I are open to training and team culture development. We riff off of topics our friends in Authentic Relating practices and Human Systems methods talk about but ground it in a new frame for entrepreneurs and creators.

Launched a community Toolbox - Buildacommunity.co

I've seen and collected loads of lists and databases of these tools before but they weren't public yet. was built in collaboration with the Community builders FB Group. Now the community can all contribute to the toolbox and support community builders to find the tools they need to start or grow their communities & find support for seasoned community builders!
